Parents sign in and out via the computer using a pin code unique to their child.

The playroom has a portable air conditioning unit to keep the playroom cool in addition the central heating and air conditioning unit for the home.

Colleen's Child Care has 2 hamsters that love to entertain the children. The children gain respect for animals and learn about their living habits.

Manipulatives in drawers that are cleaned at least once a week.

An overview of the whole length of the playroom. This is where the children eat, sleep at nap time, play and learn.

The TV up on the wall is on no more than 30 minutes per day and only Disney, Noggins or PBS shows are allowed that are young child friendly.

The children's "go home" folders. Each child has a folder where art work, newletters, receipts for payment and more are placed to be taken home.

Looking toward my family's dining room table. This table is also used by the children for activities during the day.

The children love dry erase markers!! These are used for children learning to write their names or just experiment with markers.

Colleen's Child Care loves music and with over 100 children's CD's we have a lot to choose from.

Artwork is always placed on the bulletin for all to admire! The children love to see their creations displayed.

A look at our current birthday board. Birthdays are always celebrated with singing Happy Birthday and of course a special treat is always welcome.

Board books and paperback books are always availble and rotated weekly for variety. Colleen's Child Care also participates in Traveling Tales.

Circle / Group Time Area. The basket contains the items we regularly use for circle time. These items are rotated often based on themes and season.
