Our Family Pets

Colleen's family loves having pets around.  We have 2 dogs, a cat and 3 guinea pigs.  It is my belief that teaching children at a young age to appreciate and respect animals is important.  All the interaction between my pets and the children in my care is always 100% supervised.  The dogs are registered with Stanislaus Animal Control and are up to date on their annual immunizations including Rabies Vaccine.

 

Rest in peace Cayla...you were a fantastic dog who lived to the age of 10 1/2 years who was loved by all of us dearly. It has been less that 24 hours since we made the painful decision to let you rest in peace and I miss you dearly "ole dog".  Cayla ~ December 2000 - April 24, 2010

  

Cooper is a 6 year old Beagle who I adopted in 2005.  He was a medical research dog - a plasma donor specifically.  He is a happy dog who loves attention and the playfulness of children.  He loves to run around the yard with the kids.  Cooper is an inside dog and is often with the child care kids.

Romeo was adopted in March 2009.  He is a 2 year old Chihuahua with a very sweet personality although he will bark until he gets used to a person.  He is an indoor dog and is with the child care children 100% of the time.   He has free roam of my home and goes between the indoor and outdoor environments as he wishes.  My child care kids love him and he loves the kids.
